Igor Christolubov was born in 1956 in Bijsk of Altaj Region. In 1983 he finished Bijsk teachers’’ training college and got a diploma of drawing teacher. He lived and prepared to enter workshop of sculptor Mikhail in Barnaul. He considered this man his teacher. In 1992 he graduated from Stroganov University in Moscow, the department of sculpture.
